As a senior legal advisor at the non-governmental organization Trial International, 2023 Obama Foundation Europe Leader Adrijana Hanušić Bećirović is deeply committed to improving the lives of those whose human rights have been violated, motivated by her own experience during the Bosnian War. Adriana was among nearly 100 changemakers from across Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe who joined President Obama for a week-long leadership and cultural experience in Athens, Greece. During the week, Leaders exchanged ideas, workshopped solutions, and built meaningful connections.
