This year, My Brother’s Keeper celebrated our 10th anniversary! As we close out this exciting, impact-filled year, we wanted to share some of our favorite memories.

In 2024, the MBK Alliance:
Continued supporting our MBK Model Communities as they aim to achieve population-level impact across each of our six MBK Milestones
Offered three young men the opportunity to work behind the scenes with TNT Sports at the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Final Four in Phoenix (Opens in a new tab)
Hosted the first-ever MBK-Obama Leadership Academy, a freshman connection program for rising high school freshmen at two South Side high schools in partnership with Chicago Public Schools. 84 percent of our academy participants are currently on track for graduation.
Sent an MBK Alliance participant to Stamford, Connecticut to work alongside industry experts as an NBC intern for the 2024 Paris Olympics (Opens in a new tab)
These are just a few highlights of the incredible work taking place across our national network. Daily, our community, organization, and system leaders work hard to improve the lives of the boys and young men of color. As we wrap up our 10-year anniversary, we also look with anticipation and excitement toward what we can accomplish over the next 10 years!
